Rich and creamy home-made ice-cream. Simply the best!
You will need:
¼ cup cocoa powder
1 tablespoon maizena
1 cup coconut cream
1 cup coconut milk
250g finely chopped dark chocolate
1 cup coconut
1 tin condensed milk
½ cup marula liqueur
Place the cocoa powder and maizena in a saucepan. Add the coconut cream and coconut milk to the mixture.
Simmer on low heat for approximate five minutes. Stir constantly.
Remove from the heat and add the dark chocolate, coconut, condensed milk and marula liqueur.
Stir slowly for another five minutes until all the chocolate has melted.
Place the ice-cream mixture in the fridge for approximately five hours until the mixture has cooled off completely.
Beat the mixture with an electric beater for approximately four minutes until it has a smooth, frothy appearance.
Pour the ice-cream mixture into an ice-cream tub and place in the freezer overnight.
Enjoy any time.
