The aroma of freshly baked bread will fill your home.
You will need:
1 kg cake flour
1 packet dry yeast
2 cups luke-warm water
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 cup butter
Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
Sift the cake flour, sugar and salt together and set aside.
Mix the yeast and water. Add the vinegar and set aside for the yeast to start creating bubbles.
Mix the dry ingredients and half of the butter with the yeast and vinegar water.
Mix with a dough hook until all the ingredients have been blended well in the dough ball.
Set aside to rise for two hours. The dough will have doubled in size.
Cover a table’s surface with oil and knead the dough ball for approximately five minutes.
Divide the dough ball into two balls of the same size.
Spread two bread tins with oil so that the bread won’t stick. Place the bread tins aside so that the dough can once again double in size.
Bake in the oven for one hour until the bread is done and golden brown.
Melt the rest of the butter and spread over the bread while they are still warm.
