A quick supper.
You will need:
500g rump steak, cut into strips
3 carrots, scraped and cut into strips
1 yellow green pepper, cut into strips
4 brown mushrooms, cut into strips
1 cup purple cabbage leaves, cut into strips
1 teaspoon soya sauce
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon sweet and sour sauce
Dip the rump steak strips in the olive oil and cover each strip with a generous layer of pepper.
Fry the strips in a hot pan until golden brown and about ¾ done on the inside.
Add the carrots, green pepper, brown mushrooms, cabbage leaves, soya sauce and sweet and sour sauce.
Fry all the ingredients together for another five minutes.
Remove from the heat and enjoy with any rice of your choice.
Also delicious the next day.
